Moulded case circuit breaker widely known as MCCB used for the protection of electrical machineries. However, it might cause a fire hazard if it is not trip on time or if the contact resistance is relatively higher. So, a regular maintenance should be done on MCCB for proper and safe operation of the MCCB. We, Edge Engineering use primary current injector, micro-ohm meter and insulation tester to test the MCCB. The testing parameters that we measure at the time of annual inspection are as below.
